TEMPERED GLASS

Tempered Glass improves the functionality and durability of normal glass opening it up to a wider variety of uses.

Using proprietary thermal(heating) processes, float (normal) glass is heated very close to its melting point and then rapidly cooled via cold air jets. This causes the outer glass layers to solidify faster and compress the middle layers giving the glass more durability.

This allows the glass to be used for purposes not normally associated with it such as:

    Structural glass
    Shop fronts
    Shower cubicles
    Swing & sliding doors
    Table Top
    Sliding/ swing doors
    Interior decoration
    Partitions
    Sports purposes
    Floors

ssentially tempered glass is 5 times stronger than normal glass and can handle more weight, hence, can be used for functions normally associated with solid partitions. Its temperature resistance is also formidable being able to withstand heat up to a staggering 295 degrees Celsius.
